Hi my name is Amy. I'm a 36 year old woman with two kids. I need help relocating.  I am highly employable and can gain employment where I move and can even line something up ahead of time if I can plan where I'm going. I live in Columbus Ohio and would like to move to Lompoc California where my brother lives. He is my only family and I have no support system.  I am recently divorced from an abusive man. I have a restraining order and he isn't allowed to see our children. I still have him and his friends following me wherever I go. It's just a painful situation to be in. He and I have been together so long I think he just can't give up the control he's had over me. I've been in therapy since we separated, about a year now..my therapist thinks I need a support system and feels I should move to be closer to family if at all possible.

Long story short...a u-haul alone (towing my car) costs $1661 for 8 days..not to mention rent and deposit.
